CUSTOMIZED PILATES FOR PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES AVAILABLE
Teresa has been a member of Pilates Method Alliance and a certified Power Pilates instructor for more than a decade. Classically trained, she uses Joseph Pilates original teachings as a basis for her contemporary teaching style. Former multi-sport athlete and National Karate Champion (US Team), Teresa launched the YMCA's first self-defense classes for adults and children and ran several of their athletic programs. She enjoys training fit individuals seeking a new challenge as well as those clients with existing injuries and limitations. You will often find her at a client's physical therapy sessions, broadening her knowledge of movement and anatomy. She has trained pro athletes from multiple sports, watching game film, and tailoring workouts to meet their specific needs while specializing in injury prevention. Teresa founded Performance Pilates Tampa, in an effort to reach and educate more men and the sports community, on the benefits of a customized Pilates workout, while providing them the private setting they often require.
Breezy grew up in the Caribbean where she was a very active child and learned the importance of movement. She then moved to London and Cosovo where she fell in love with Pilates and it's benefits. After landing in Tampa, Breezy obtained her certification through STOTT Pilates and enjoys sharing her passion with clients. Experiencing her own difficult pregnancy with her son, she quickly put her pilates knowledge to work, restoring her core strength and overall fitness while reducing pain. Breezy enjoys teaching clients how to move with intention and mindfulness while teaching the importance of a strong core.
